Gross!!!!!
Cost
How many?
Q: Gross!!!!!
Aren't we heading back to the dark ages?????? This seams so gross.
A:
Isn't it funny how things change, we are all becoming so much more concerned about the environment and we all need to make changes. There wasn't a global warming issue back when women used rags which were just that, they were pieces of cloth folded up.
Mum's Cloth Pads are amazing All in One pads that use great products like cotton, hemp, microfleece and PUL, you should not have any leakage issues, you don't need belts or any of the other things they had to use to keep them in place, you simply place them inside your pants and because of the microfleece backing they should have minimal movement if any.
You know what I find really gross now, the thought of the tips around the world filling up with nappies, and pads which have bodily fluids and feacal matter.
Q: Cost
Why are they so expensive?
A:
Mum's and Bub's Cloth are offering a top product using top quality fabrics, the prices are cheaper than some other businesses for similar products, most are charging between $2 and $5 more per nappy and the bulk packs and gift hampers offer generous discounts.
Q: How many?
I am not sure how many nappies I will need, can you help?
A:
This depends on a number of factors:
How many changes do you do a day?
On average 10-12 for a newborn, 6-8 for an older bub.
How often do you want to wash?
I wash every second day.
How are you going to dry them?
I am in Canberra and I hang mine on the line and it basically takes most of a day, a little longer in the winter time.
I have 15 nappies that are rotated, I will wash approximately 12 every second day and I have enough to get me thru until they dry, which works really well with the warmer weather, not so great when it is a bit cooler, I have found that 15 is a comfortable amount though.
